As we write this post, it's hot. Summer is officially here — the sidewalks are radiating heat, car interiors are as hot as the surface of the sun, and we're all parched and cranky. Let's find a way to cheer ourselves, up, shall we? Let's take our favorite thing — coffee — and combine it with our other favorite thing — ice cream.

Here at Ron's Beans, we believe great coffee comes from great farms. We're passionate about not just the final product, but all the people involved in the process. The farmers and their families matter to us. The buyers, the packagers, and the transporters all play a part in getting great beans to us, where we roast them with care — for you!

We believe in giving back to our community! 2019 marks the eighth year our founder, Ron Martin, rides in the Wish-A-Mile bicycle race, a three-day, 300-mile event across Michigan. As part of the Make-A-Wish program, this fundraiser makes wishes come true for critically-ill children across Michigan. You can learn more about WAM here at their website: WAM 2019.

It's summer and the heat has a tendency to make some of us a little cranky. Heat or no heat, this is no time to give up our caffeine needs. Iced coffee to the rescue! All of the caffeine, none of the added heat.
